First things first , being happy and joyful about yourself is the best thing you can do to stay healthy . They say happiness comes from within , and for me it's proven to be True .
Maintening Hygiene and Caring for yourself :
Wearing the colours you love and keeping your face and hair clear from all dust and grease can make you feel much prettier or more handsome all the time .
Using lipbalms with SPF or just a moisturising balm helps keep your lip colour even without any tan and marks . Oil your hair once a week . Use a moisturizer for your hands and legs .
If you have dry skin you can use a moisturizer for your face too ,but if your skin is oily you can skip it (I skip this, except in winter ).
For marks Under the eyes, you can just keep potato or cucumber for around 20 minutes on your closed eyes . This always helps you stay away from all the light and dust of the day and away from all gadgets giving you a good break and making your eyes look fresh !
Soaking your feet in warm water , helps soften dead skin and helps relieve your stress .
I generally soak my feet once a week along with my husband we have coffee or a small snack while we do this and chat a while . Being happy with people around you and spending time with them also contributes to you being healthy and stress-free .
Eating Right :
Having a balanced diet is very important . Have lots of fruits , vegetables , nuts and other dry fruits. You can use Nut butters like peanut butter as well as almond butter.
Have a good amount of green leaves . As we all know , they contain a lot of Iron and Iron helps in hair growth . Don't pick out the curry leaves in your curries and put them away . Eat them . They do good for your skin and hair .
Also , stay hydrated all the time . Keep drinking a lot of water , it helps eliminate toxins . Make yourselves lemon juice or other fruit if drinking too much water gets boring ( Also , make sure to keep it low on sugars though )
Don't run away from here right now . Well , I'm not asking you to be a marathon runner or do hours of walking or abs . I'm not even asking you to hit the gym .
Just any kind of exercise , for 20 mins a day , four days a week is going to work wonders for a start . Later you can extend it to 5 days a week but more than that , you don't need to push yourself ( atleast I don't ) . Exercise increases blood circulation to both your skin and your hair and helps nourish them .
Now, I can show off !

Two Major Things to avoid :
1. Caffeine :
If you can't avoid it , atleast reduce the intake . l coffee leads to release of stress hormones, like cortisol . It increases the amount of oil your sebaceous glands produce. It causes more acne breakouts .
You can use a sunscreen but many people have the problem of acne while using sunscreen . Try using a Non-comedogenic (one that doesn't cause acne)sunscreen .
I personally , don't use a sunscreen . You can Wear caps , hats , scarfs or use anything that protects you from the sun like umbrellas . Just make sure you avoid the sun to the maximum extent .
